It's a challenge for Australia to achieve unprecedented feats.

The top summits have been successfully scaled.

This is the squad that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to another six T20 titles, and once went nearly four years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, the ones sought by the achievement hunters, are all that remain for a team that has won it all.

That it took as late as Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase above 300, taking back their record for the biggest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, frankly, a compliment to the pitchers that have represented Australia over the past 50 years.

It's difficult for their batters to possess a record if not afforded the opportunity.

Finally, the result of Australia conceding 330 was leader Alyssa Healy getting an opportunity to produce her newest gem.

Initially recognized as the teenage relative of renowned former Aussie wicketkeeper Ian, she made her debut in 2010 after her nation didn't secure either of the 20 or 50-over World Cups conducted earlier and has experienced everything through 15 championship-filled years since.

A T20 championship victory arrived three months after her debut and seven international trophies have resulted from 10 efforts across formats.

The gritty keeper was in attendance in Derby in 2017 when a semi-final setback by India briefly halted the successful run.

That loss "pushed us to reconsider our benchmarks," Healy commented earlier.

At the next 50-over World Cup in New Zealand, Healy scored 170 against England in the title decider and was declared player of the series. She made sure her country would not come up short.

The question of whether this recent magnificent innings exceeded that prior achievement can be debated.

Certain people claim the argument supporting final game tension. Different voices suggest with the challenge that comes when facing a record target and a loud pro-India audience of 20,000.

What's clear is this hundred was far harder to predict.

"The possibility to take the field and lock in a contest with her and simply enjoy myself that way, kind of motivated me," commented Healy.

She reached fifty in 35 pitches - her fastest at a World Cup - and her century in 84 as she punished short deliveries, hitting 21 fours and three sixes.

Once she was removed her side needed 66 additional runs at one run per ball - an unconquered height now needing a comfortable finish.

"Pursuing 330 is new territory so I'm happy we have the confidence to accomplish that now," stated Healy further.

"Ideally we won't need to do it again but, if we do, we believe we can achieve it."

These statements will be the final thing rival teams at this championship want to hear.

In recent days a sense they will triumph from any situation has become more firm - this triumph coming after win against Pakistan by 107 run margin despite sitting at 76-7 at one stage.

Subsequently Australia meet Bangladesh before an encounter with traditional opponents England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a last-four spot may likely be confirmed.
